Global, October 12, 2020 — Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex”), a global financial services provider, today announces that it has provided pre-IPO support to Home REIT plc (“Home REIT”) ahead of its successful listing.
On October 12, Home REIT’s shares were admitted to trading on the premium segment of the main market of the London Stock Exchange, raising £240m to invest in a diversified portfolio of UK real estate assets. These assets will be used to provide accommodation for the homeless whilst targeting inflation-protected income and capital returns. Home REIT is the largest UK focused REIT IPO for over three years.
Home REIT appointed Apex pre-IPO due to its ability to offer a single-source solution and Apex will continue to work with Home REIT Plc to provide fund, financial and corporate solutions including real estate fund administration and accounting, AIFMD depositary, corporate governance and company secretarial services.
These tailored services are underpinned by market leading technology platforms allowing a multitude of administrative and accounting tasks to be completed in a seamless manner, streamlining everyday processes and reporting.
Apex has identified real estate fund services and the listed funds sector as core areas for growth for the business. This is evidenced by the recent appointments of Michael Sheahan as Global Head of Real Estate Fund Services, Anthony Lee as Head of UK Listed Funds, and Barry Hindmarch as Head of Real Estate, UK & Ireland and Channel Islands.
