This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ABM marketer to join a growing global financial services business and lead global client marketing programs. Apex is on an exceptional growth trajectory, having grown 10 x over the past two years, and requires an experienced social media marketer with an understanding of the industry, to lead and effectively deliver the companies message and drive growth.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Operations, the Client Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving specific marketing planning aligned to cross-sell and up-sell initiatives within existing clients.

You will be required to work with the broader marketing team across brand and comms, portfolio and demand to drive the ABM agenda for existing clients, adding value through driving awareness of relevant products and services. You will need to take ownership of the creation, co-ordination, deployment and optimisation of the client marketing strategy and work closely with the rest of the Marketing and Communications team in addition to deliver a personalised experience with integrated messaging.

  • Define the target audience within key client segments and develop an execution plan to increase awareness, reputation and consideration for all products
  • Deploy the right programmatic and account-specific tactical mix to deliver the right content at the right time.
  • Create and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans for targeted list of accounts in order to deepen relationships – from new customer acquisition to accelerating opportunity close to expansion.
  • Collaborate with brand and comms, portfolio marketing and the demand marketing team to deliver collateral, web content, emails, event messaging, strategic communications and other assets that drive customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the Head of Brand and Corporate Communications to help pilot a client advocacy programme.
  • Regularly produce report on success of campaigns and programs across platforms.
  • Help the business achieve its up-sell and cross-sell revenue targets by working with the product and client relationship teams to understand client segments and unearth cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Working with Portfolio marketing, formulate a strong understanding of our personas within different audience segments among the accounts – pain points, demographics, and how they buy.
  • Partner with regional marketing and sales teams to develop a high touch marketing strategy with the goal of building and accelerating pipeline for Enterprise accounts.
  • Work closely with the social media marketing manager to drive awareness within client base across multiple accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams on campaign concept, content requirements, buyer’s journey development, and digital marketing execution to ensure effectiveness execution.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of ABM tactics in order to design and execute 1-2-1, and broad-based marketing initiatives to meet pipeline requirements of varied account segments and priority account lists.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve and take down barriers to achieve success.
  • Demonstrable experience driving global ABM campaigns.
  • Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes.
  • A self-starter willing to build an ABM role from the ground up and establish marketing excellence through process and reporting.
  • Experience with B2B products or services, such as financial services or corporate services products, etc.
  • Good experience of the platforms, products and tools that underpin ABM marketing automation – experience with Pardot and/or Salesforce required.
  • Candidates may come from any industry sector, such as finance, media, banking, insurance, retail, pharma, etc.
  • Graduate degree in Marketing or relevant experience in Finance Industry would be advantageous.
  • Email HTML coding a plus.
  • A high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectory.
  • The ability to build and define ABM strategy for the group to deliver a tangible impact on the business.
  • Be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that makes a visible contribution to revenue and sales pipeline.
  • Exposure to all aspects of the business, cross-jurisdiction and to working with a broad range of internal stakeholders.
