This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ABM marketer to join a growing global financial services business and lead global influencer marketing programs. Apex is on an exceptional growth trajectory, having grown 10 x over the past two years, and requires an experienced social media marketer with an understanding of the industry, to lead and effectively deliver the companies message and drive growth.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Operations, the Influencer Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving specific marketing planning aligned to driving referrals from Law firms and Audit firms as an additional revenue stream.

You will be required to work with the broader marketing team across brand and comms, portfolio and demand to drive the ABM agenda for influencer’s clients, in addition to aligning yourself with the Head of Influencers to develop creative initiatives that educate companies about Apex’s offering and drive advocacy and referrals for new opportunities.

You will be required to drive awareness of relevant products and services and take ownership of the creation, co-ordination, deployment and optimisation of the influencer marketing strategy, leveraging personas for a personalised experience with integrated messaging.

  • Define the target audience within key influencer segments and develop an execution plan to increase awareness, reputation and consideration for all products
  • Agree focus accounts with Head of Influencers and deploy the right programmatic and account-specific tactical mix to deliver the right content at the right time.
  • Create and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans for targeted list of accounts in order to deepen relationships and deepen referral relationships.
  • Collaborate with brand and comms, portfolio marketing and the demand marketing team to deliver collateral, web content, emails, event messaging, strategic communications, retargeting and other assets that drive influencer engagement.
  • Work closely with the Head of Influencers to help pilot an influencer advocacy programme.
  • Regularly produce report on success of campaigns and programs across platforms.
  • Help the business achieve its referral revenue targets by working alongside the Head of Influencers and with the sales teams to understand influencer segments, personas and referral drivers to unearth new relationships and revenue opportunities.
  • Working with Portfolio marketing, formulate a strong understanding of our personas within different audience segments among the accounts – pain points, demographics, and how they buy.
  • Drive an education initiative leveraging our enterprise video platform to facilitate webinars and tutorials, working with key product experts to deliver live and on demand video demos/presentations.
  • Partner with regional marketing and sales teams to develop a high touch marketing strategy with the goal of building and accelerating pipeline with regional influencers.
  • Work closely with the social media marketing manager to drive awareness within the influencer community delivering targeted messaging to key accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams on campaign concept, content requirements and digital marketing execution to ensure effectiveness execution.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of ABM tactics in order to design and execute 1-2-1, and broad-based marketing initiatives to meet pipeline requirements of varied account segments and priority account lists.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve and take down barriers to achieve success.
  • Demonstrable experience driving global ABM campaigns.
  • Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes.
  • A self-starter willing to build an ABM role from the ground up and establish marketing excellence through process and reporting.
  • Experience with B2B products or services, such as financial services or corporate services products, etc.
  • Good experience of the platforms, products and tools that underpin ABM marketing automation – experience with Pardot and/or Salesforce required.
  • Candidates may come from any industry sector, such as finance, media, banking, insurance, retail, pharma, etc.
  • Graduate degree in Marketing or relevant experience in Finance Industry would be advantageous.
  • Email HTML coding a plus.
  • A high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectory.
  • The ability to build and define ABM strategy for the group to deliver a tangible impact on the business.
  • Be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that makes a visible contribution to revenue and sales pipeline.
  • Exposure to all aspects of the business, cross-jurisdiction and to working with a broad range of internal stakeholders.
