Summary of role

You will be a member of a collaborative team which provides services to a range of corporate entities including regulated funds and fund services businesses.

Reporting to the responsible manager, the role requires strong administrative and organisational skills and proactive client interaction, all conducted in a professional manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, agreed client service levels and Company standards.

As with any role level within our business, we are dedicated to the development of all staff and would support study towards a professional qualification recognised by the JFSC.

Job Specification

  • Work as part of the team, contributing at team meetings, communicating effectively with colleagues and third parties, with a positive ‘can do’ approach to support the successful performance of the Company
  • Take responsibility for the organisation of board meetings, including the preparation and distribution of board packs to Directors
  • Attend client meetings and prepare draft minutes
  • Draft letters, minutes and banking instructions as necessary
  • Develop knowledge of electronic banking systems and ability to accurately generate on-line banking instructions for subsequent review and approval.
  • Develop knowledge of, and comply with Apex’s policies and procedures as amended from time to time
  • Take responsibility for the drafting and preparation of relevant documentation and systems data for the set up / closure of entities.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, commensurate with responsibilities
  • Carry out all tasks in compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements
  • Produce all client reports (letters, emails, faxes, statements, investor information etc) to a high standard of accuracy
  • Develop a good financial awareness, commercial awareness, and ensure debt recovery is monitored
  • To be studying towards a professional qualification recognised by the JFSC, preferably ICSA or ACCA
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good standard of oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work within allocated deadlines and according to instructions and Company procedures
