European Depositary Bank, Dublin Branch is seeking to invite applications from candidates for the role of Oversight due Diligence Manager supporting the Client Implementation and Oversight department Manager of EDB, Dublin Branch.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fund professional looking for a dynamic and client focused role.  The primary role of the AVP will be conducting due diligence on service providers contracted to EDB Dublin Branch in addition to providers that are contracted to EBD Dublin clients. This includes due diligence on AIFM/ManCo’s, Administrators (fund accountant/transfer agent) and Sub-Custodians.

The role will also have include a supporting role on the onboarding elements of the department by successfully integrating clients into the Dublin Branch of EDB.

  • Ensure effective procedures are followed to ensure responsibilities and deliverables are clearly outlined and performed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure initial due diligence on delegates are preformed and minutes on file
  • Attend due Diligence visits and write minutes within agreed deadline
  • Maintaining due diligence calendar to capture upcoming Due Diligence requirements for Managers, Sub Custodians and Fund Administrators
  • Ensure to inform management and depositary team of any issues encountered following the DD reviews
  • Complete monthly KPI report on DD reviews
  • Keep up to date with regulatory change impacting fund/management company structures/depositaries and assist in the development of new procedures/processes where required.
  • Partake in DD reviews on EDB Dublin from our clients delegates where appropriate
  • Support the implementation team on any KYC tasks, fund launches, fund terminations, and changes of service providers or other similar projects on client funds
  • Seek opportunities to enhance our processes generally and participate in one-off projects to benefit the company as a whole.
  • Achieved a recognised professional or third level qualification that is relevant to the role.
  • Preferably 5+ years’ of relevant industry experience in a funds service or funds management organization with an understanding of the depositary’s role and responsibilities an advantage
  • Knowledge of UCITS and AIF Fund Structures
  • Experience in a similar role which involved oversight of UCITS and/or AIFMD compliant funds
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients & service providers and work with them to navigate challenges and resolve issues.
  • Excellent Client service skills, client focused and delivers work to an exceptionally high standard
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Results driven and proactive in problem solving
