Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Role & Key Responsibilities:

The Compliance Administrator will work in support of the Guernsey Compliance team, contributing towards the development and enhancement of the Compliance function. This will involve assisting in in monitoring and reporting on matters relating to compliance, internal risk, regulations, legislation and control.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Compliance Officer and the Client Compliance Officer to ensure compliance throughout the business.
  • Promoting a positive compliance culture through engagement with staff.
  • Assisting in the completion of the compliance monitoring programme.
  • Preparing and reviewing regulatory submissions.
  • Preparing periodic Compliance reports for the business and administered client entities.
  • Assisting with the provision of training and / or advice to staff.
  • Keen attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Competent analytical, research and investigative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (including; Word and Excel).
  • Have an understanding of the Guernsey regulatory framework.
  • Able to work in support of the wider team.
  • Learning and development (through direct insight) regarding the Guernsey regulatory framework, and how this affects the Bailiwick, the Company and clients.
  • Understanding of the Guernsey private equity industry.
  • Working with a dynamic and experienced team of Compliance professionals.
