Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Full Time Permanent 

Reporting directly to the Head of Brand & Communications, you will be working closely with colleagues across the marketing and communications team to develop and execute the content that builds the Apex Group’s brand and reputation globally. You will help create, implement, and analyse content development across all channels, both internally and externally, as well as help to streamline and take ownership of the processes surrounding those. You will need to be highly motivated, organised, adaptable and an excellent communicator, comfortable in dealing with people at all levels. An interest in and an understanding of financial services is a definite bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will manage the content creation process across a variety of channels, liaising with in-house experts and third-party suppliers
  • You will manage the content calendars that support our global campaigns, to ensure a regular and timely cadence of communications, both internally and externally
  • You will support the broader marketing and communications team – including our Internal Communications, Social Media and Media Relations teams – in developing and delivering a variety of content, both written and visual
  • You will be expected to help proofread all content, with a keen eye for detail, to ensure quality control is maintained
  • You will be expected to keep up to date with the latest tools and content trends to ensure our programmes remain fresh, contemporary and engaging.
  • Experience in developing and creating content, both written and visual, that support brand awareness and lead generation efforts
  • Degree educated - ideally in an English, business, communications, marketing or journalism
  • Have good written and verbal communications skills, with excellent command of English, and an eye for detail
  • An ability to think creatively
  • An ability to delve into technical content and translate it into engaging and thought-provoking messages
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across geographies and levels
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter who proactively seeks out stories that will be of interest to Apex Group employees or our external stakeholders
  • A quick learner, able to pick up new skills and learn how to use new digital tools
  • Experience in Microsoft office tools is a must-have.
  • A high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectory
  • The ability to develop a wide variety of digital marketing skills to drive innovation and have a tangible impact on the business
  • Be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that makes a genuine impact on revenue and sales pipeline.
  • Exposure to all aspects of the business, cross-jurisdiction and to working with senior management directly.
