Due to the expansion of the company, we have an opportunity for a Central Administration and Depositary oversight to join our team based in Luxembourg.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

We are a leading independent European third party Management Company/AIFM regulated by the CSSF in Luxembourg providing services to Luxembourg, Ireland and French UCITS and AIF domiciled investment schemes.

We are looking to hire a Due Diligence Oversight Officer to join our Central Administration and Depositary governance team within the Central Administration and Depositary oversight department in our Luxembourg Office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated professional to develop their career within our organization by contributing to the due diligence oversight framework strengthening and development on the Central Administrators, the Depositary Banks and the Management Company/AIFM itself in terms of internal governance and risk management in accordance with the local regulations in force.

  • Conduct with appropriate support due diligence oversight reviews on the Central Administrators and the Depositary Banks including AML/KYC preliminary documentation and risk review, questionnaire and standard pack documentation review, ISAE 3402 control reports and any other pertinent documentation review, for the purpose of the business model and the implemented control framework understanding;
  • Organise and prepare with appropriate support on-site and/or remote sessions on the Central Administrators and the Depositary Banks to address and remediate potential due diligence oversight findings and/or on-going subjects of interest for the particular Central Administrator and Depositary Bank under review and to perform on a risk based approach some sample testing;
  • Prepare based on team templates due diligence oversight reports on the Central Administrators and the Depositary Banks for the attention of the Management Company/AIFM Conducting Officers, Management Committees and Board of Directors;
  • Coordinate with required back-up Depositary Banks due diligences on the Management Company/AIFM including questionnaire completion, follow-up questions and on-site and/or remote sessions coordination;
  • Support the Manager in charge of the Central Administrator and Depositary due diligence oversight in building an effective and efficient due diligence oversight control program in line with the Management Company/AIFM internal governance;
  • Keep up to date key internal control and templates including the due diligence oversight dashboard, the internal company shared database and any template used for the preparation and completion of the due diligence exercise;
  • Take part to some specific projects in case of regulatory developments to update as needed related controls and processes in the due diligence oversight framework;
  • Last but not least develop expertise in the area of risk management, internal governance, central administration depositary and Management Companies/AIFM topics considering industry best market practice and regulatory continuous developments.
  • Good working knowledge of the Luxembourg, Irish and UK Fund Industry and its major players;
  • Master's degree in Finance;
  • Around 5 years' oversight/control experience with a Central Administrator, a Depositary Bank or an audit firm;
  • An overall knowledge of the Luxembourg Fund and Management Company/AIFM key regulatory environment requirements;
  • Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills;
  • Autonomous and dedicated, you have a high sense of responsibility and great interpersonal skills;
  • Willing to learn you are able to gain a global and transversal vision of the role and the impact on the company's activities.
  • Fluent written professional English is essential.
