The Role:

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Integrations, the Head of Integrations PMO is responsible for providing high quality, proactive planning, tracking, reporting and governance support to the Global Integrations team, spanning across the full scope of the Integrations and Business Change portfolios.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • This broad role will partner directly with both the Integration project team and the Group Technology PMO to define and embed ‘best practice’ for managing change through the E2E cycle, optimizing performance, scalability and governance;
  • Leveraging experience and capacity from across the Integration team, lead the development and maintenance of a core change library for Integrations, comprising:
    • Key change ‘artefacts’ (e.g. standard document templates)
    • Best Practice ‘how to’ guides
    • Library of core governance and delivery documents for all current and past projects
  • Lead Integration team adoption of centralized planning and governance tools, in particular the Daptiv platform:
    • Lead design and development / customization of the Integration workspace, partnering with Technology PMO;
    • Support and coach Integration Project Managers in using the platform efficiently to plan, track and report progress;
  • Coordinate project and portfolio status reporting – ensuring timely and high quality / value adding reporting of status / progress against key performance indicators (overall timetable, milestone targets, RAIDs);
  • Proactively partner with the Group Technology PMO to ensure transparency and ‘interlock’ between change portfolios and priorities;
  • Support Global Head of Integrations in coordinating the portfolio prioritization cycle – both annual and ad-hoc during the course of the year;
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to project and programme managers across the broader Integrations team – including tracking of tasks and dependencies, documenting minutes and actions from key stakeholder meetings (e.g. initiation calls, steering committees);
  • Champion change awareness and change readiness amongst impacted business teams and stakeholder groups.

Experience:

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in providing high quality administrative and governance support across a range of different project and programme types and all key phases of the E2E change lifecycle.

A collaborative and resourceful team-player they will being able to quickly understand the business strategy and objectives, and will act as a value-adding enabler both within the Integration team and in strengthening our linkage with the Group Technology PMO.

They will have a demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Competencies:

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Programme Management Office role, supporting complex projects and programmes through all phases of the E2E change lifecycle;
  • Good experience of change management disciplines and methodologies, such as Prince II, Six Sigma, Agile, PMP;
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisation skills, ability to multi-task effectively under pressure;
  • High energy, inquisitive and engaged;
  • Highly proficient in key MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Self-motivated, proactive, resilient and resourceful.
  • Excellent communication, listening and writing skills in English (other languages are a bonus);
  • A team-player – confident building relationships at all levels.

Preferable:

  • Strong background in financial services – fund administration, banking, custody, depositary, ManCo, Corporate Services;
  • Creative - aptitude for diagnosing problems/issues and proposing solutions in a deadline driven environment;
  • Experience with Technology change.
