Role & Key Responsibilities:

The role is to act as the business head of for Apex’s Real Estate service offering in APAC in order to lead the Group’s expanding operation and service delivery across one of its most important jurisdictions.  The Head of RE is responsible to promote and grow the Real Estate business and opportunities in the APAC region primarily but also internationally, as required:

  • Ensuring excellent client service delivery to existing clients and functional products
  • Leading business development in line with the Operating Model
  • Meeting financial and operational targets, supporting product innovation
  • Participating/leading client and vendor due diligence processes
  • Constantly work to improve performance standards and service quality
  • Primary focus of the role will be APAC, however it is also required to support teams globally under the guidance of the Global Head of Real Estate
  • Supporting and participating in Business Development activities - leading key client pitches
  • Establishing the highest levels of expertise in the industry and sharing them with the wider global Apex Fund Services group in order to solidify Apex’s growing reputation with the PERE market in APAC and around the globe
  • Working with Apex’s global teams in addition to working with a team of Client Relationship Managers who lead various operational client facing administration, on-boarding and support teams in APAC
  • Act as signatory as required for the business and/or its
  • Ensure objectives of client and statutory reporting requirements are met
  • May be required to act as director on selected client boards
  • Ability to lead oneself and others – be a self-starter and help others to step up when faced with challenges
  • Focussed on great delivery/outcomes for the business. Strives to deliver outstanding service line profitability and revenue growth
  • Strong inter-personal skills and technical experience, background in real estate investment management / fund administration
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial approach
  • Focused on growth and managing change effectively
  • High integrity, good communication skills, discretion and tact
  • Working with ambiguity and being resourceful to find solutions, thinking creatively and deliver pragmatic solutions
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MSCI or similar

 

  • A high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectory
  • The ability to define marketing processes to drive innovation and have a tangible impact on the business
  • Be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that makes a genuine impact on revenue and sales pipeline.
  • Exposure to all aspects of the business, cross-jurisdiction and to working with senior management directly.
