Employment Type: Permanent

The Junior Financial Officer will work closely with a Financial Officer and/or Senior Financial Officer and Senior Corporate Officer on financial tasks to be executed for the clients. Under the guidance of a Senior Financial Officer and Financial Manager he/she will be responsible for junior financial duties.

Competently carry out duties in a professional manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, service levels and company standards so as to meet with business expectations, with the support of other members of the team, when required.

Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • To administer financial and other changes in the client accounting;
  • To prepare (parts) of the annual reports under supervision and review by Financial Officer or Senior Financial Officer;
  • Preparation of periodical reports under supervision and review by Financial Officer or Senior Financial Officer;
  • To prepare draft declarations of VAT returns for review by Financial Officer or Senior Financial Officer;
  • To prepare bank reconciliations;
  • To contribute to a high standard of quality and checks of internal procedures.

Qualifications

  • Partly or Fully Qualified ACCA or Degree Holder
  • About 1-2 years relevant working experience, preferably in trust or accountancy and knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS
