Employment Type: Full Time Temporary (12 months FTC)

Throgmorton (UK) Limited are looking for a part qualified accountant – part qualified by experience - (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), to join the growing London team, to undertake both ongoing client work and one-off project work, for our varied client base that covers numerous different industries and encompasses clients of differing sizes, both private and public.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will join of one of our small internal teams, consisting of staff ranging from trainee accountants through to highly qualified professionals and will be expected to undertake work in a variety of different accounting areas, as well as helping to review the work undertaken by our junior offshore accountants, ensuring that it is of the highest quality. You will be expected to potentially undertake more challenging technical work yourself as well as provide day-to-day accounting services to your client base.

From a technical perspective, you may find yourself undertaking recurring work and one-off projects in the following areas,

  • The provision of bookkeeping services and review of bookkeeping undertaken by others;
  • Management accounting – preparation of;
  • Financial statement preparation, both UK GAAP and IFRS;
  • Liaison with external audit teams and helping to manage the audit process for your client’s;
  • Provision of technical advice to client’s;
  • Data analysis; and
  • Undertaking junior elements of project work – systems and controls advisory for example

  • Strong book-keeping and management accounting experience;
  • A sound basis of technical accounting knowledge under both UK GAAP and IFRS;
