Role & Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Fund Accountant you will be expected to provide support to the team and Team Managers of the Company by being proactive in your approach to ensure that you uphold the policies and procedures of the Company as a whole.

You will ensure that the efficiency of the Company is maintained, deal with client requests for assistance and meet the Company’s SLAs and regulatory requirements. 

  • Prepare and/or review of management, interim and audited financial reporting for all the section's clients
  • Control and monitor the bookkeeping process and take ownership of client ledgers
  • Assist with planning of annual audits and liaise with clients to establish timetables for the receipt of valuations and advisers reports and other relevant information
  • Train and develop junior staff members as required to a high standard
  • Review work performed by members of the team and provide regular feedback
  • Oversee the preparation of carried interest and other calculations in accordance with the fund documentation as well as addressing any relevant ad hoc requests
  • Ensure that the calculations and monitoring of capital adequacy of licensed entities is correct
  • Act as a Signatory
  • Motivate and empower wider team and by building their capabilities
  • Deputise if required during Line Manager Absences
  • To provide cover to other sections in times of need
  • Manage, train and develop junior team members
  • To assist with all aspects of general administration of clients
  • Ability to reflect and review actions
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate the team
  • Good communication skills
  • Think creatively and deliver pragmatic solutions
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity and discretion
  • Target Vocational Qualifications – ACA/ICAWE, ACCA, CIMA or similar
