The Americas Finance team is expanding. The Finance team has oversight and responsibility for the maintenance of Apex’s accounting records, financial reporting, and treasury functions at a local office and group level. We are looking for candidates who possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to work and manage to recurring, tight timelines, while maintaining high service standards. Successful candidates are flexible, fast-thinking, collaborative, and team oriented but also able to work well on their own initiative. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager who will take control of the Americas Accounts Payable function and play a key role in centralizing the Accounts Payable process across the Americas entities and build in the appropriate controls and procedures to ensure that all invoices have been received, properly approved, accurately recorded in the accounting GL on a timely basis, appropriately paid on a timely basis and an accurate and complete aged AP listing is produced on a regular basis. Head office has recently implemented SAP Concur, an expense and invoice management system, along with Gatekeeper, a supplier management system, to work with Financial Force, our accounting system. The Accounts Payable Manager will lead the hiring, training and support of the Accounts Payable team and ensure that the AP function operates smoothly, maintains accurate and complete records, and documents the new controls and procedures ensuring they are in line with the Apex expense policy and procedures. The Accounts Payable Manager will be the main point of contact for the Americas internally and externally in regards to all expense invoices and employee reimbursements. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for all entities in the Americas region and will report to the Americas Finance Controller.
