Department: Client Onboarding

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the onboarding and integration of new Apex Group clients in the Channel Islands, UK and Ireland
  • Coordination of client adoptions, account openings, review and negotiation of funds offering documentation and legal agreements, internal system set ups, and project planning
  • Coordinate internal functions to onboard new clients including Spartan support and CDD, Service Delivery Teams, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams
  • Providing regular status updates of onboardings and conversions to new clients
  • Lead weekly project calls with stakeholders
  • Participate in regional new business meetings and provide updates to senior management
  • Assist in the production of the new business report and other KPIs / management reports as required
  • Develop best practices and operating models for integration to enhance the client onboarding experience
  • Integration of legacy businesses into the central onboarding process
  • Support other UK&I offices & team members where required
  • Assist UK & CI and European Heads of Onboarding in rolling out the Group onboarding procedure in all locations and business lines
  • Assist in the roll-out other onboarding initiatives as we streamline the process across the Group
  • Reporting for deals onboarded in UK & CI
  • Good knowledge of funds industry and will have experience working on Private Equity and Hedge funds
  • Experience of different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage
  • Experience/knowledge of Custody/Depository/AIFM services is an advantage
  • Have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on their own initiative
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of Investran, Advent Geneva, Mantra, Paxus, eFront and other fund accounting systems an advantage
