Role & Key Responsibilities

The principal responsibility for the position is the coordination and oversight of all  operational fund administration functions relating to real estate funds and underlying SPVs performed in our Luxembourg office and Shared Service Centers. General responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and organize the day-to-day administration of the real estate funds and underlying SPVs
  • Ensure the fund’s NAV calculation and reporting are performed on a timely, consistent and accurate basis in accordance with Apex standards and procedures
  • Provide guidance to the teams with regards to complex accounting issues
  • Build and develop working relationships between the teams, clients, fund directors and other relevant internal and external suppliers
  • Assist with the implementation of new business applications and changes to working practices and procedures
  • Participate in business development activities (pitches, presentations, marketing initiatives)
  • Reports into the Head of Fund Administration Luxembourg
  • A university degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years working experience in the field of fund accounting
  • Detailed understanding of Luxembourg fund structures (Alternative Investments Funds) and the fund administration industry overall
  • Sound knowledge of real estate investment and fund reporting standards in accordance with Lux GAAP and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of Yardi Investment Management and/or Efront
  • Client-focused mindset and pragmatic approach
  • An ability and desire to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • An ability to multi-task and manage projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients and professional intermediaries
  • Excellent organisational, communication and people management skills
  • Fluency in English; fluency in German would be a considerable advantage
  • A high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectory
