  • Demonstrates a developing awareness of relevant risk and regulatory considerations affecting his or her day to day job, applies them practically and escalates concerns to manager where necessary.
  • Developing a deep understanding of our business, the needs of its stakeholders and knowing what needs to be escalated.
  • Demonstrates a keenness to continue to acquire further knowledge and experience.
  • Administrative tasks support:
    • Assist the compliance staff in the day to day management
    • Assist the Compliance team in the preparation and organisation of the KYC files (Filing and scanning as required).
    • Keeps databases, logs, spreadsheets updated.
    • Setting up meetings and taking care of the calendar agenda. Setting up meetings for the Client acceptance committee.
    • Client file reviews: Email requests or reminders to the teams. Ensure file reviews are signed off and stored in designated folders and scanned. Respective logs kept up to date.
    • Answer the day-to-day KYC compliance queries from different departments / servicing teams;
    • Offer ongoing support to all the staff on compliance issues
    • Client base screening against sanctions / Batch name screening management.
    • BAU Support
    • Support to the achievement to the compliance monitoring plan
  • Encourage development of the Compliance culture within the company.
  • Regularly performs internal trainings and respects internal deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree preferable in law, Business administration
  • Experience in financial sector in Luxembourg and/or in a compliance department
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Good knowledge of AML laws & regulation and compliance matters
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge of French and German are considered an advantage
  • Full ownership over the tasks;
  • Requests are dealt with in a timely manner and accurately;
  • Act independently to resolve simple cases and propose solutions to senior team members;
  • Professional cooperation with the units, acting always as a support person;
  • Ability to detect deviations and to escalate matters accordingly to the line manager(s);
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations in a confidential and professional manner
  • Self-organized and able to work accurately;
  • Pro-active and having a positive approach;
  • Team player providing support and helping the other team members;
  • A high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectory.
